BP is a leader and role model in the safety and training arena. TeraPixel’s relationship with BP dates back to 1998.

Large-Scale Training Project -- General Aviation Fueling Operations Interactive Training CD-ROM. TeraPixel’s challenge was to convert a dated, hard copy training manual into a more stimulating, interactive learning tool. The 36 module, media-rich CD features over 16 hours of learning with voiceovers, pictures, and video for various fueling procedures. Our project team did location shoots, working closely with BP operations personnel. The finished CD-ROM includes an introductory video with a BP executive, original music, 3D animation, and voiceovers. Quizzes at key points test field technicians, while a login system conveniently allows them to return to the last point of progress. BP auditors can track the progress of technicians throughout the country.

Multiple custom training programs – TeraPixel has delivered videos on VHS and DVD for critical transportation and airport safety procedures. These videos are used at airports across the country. All video footage was shot on location and features custom music and animation. Packaging and duplication of these materials were handled in-house by TeraPixel.

BP has also hired TeraPixel to create a website with a database back-end to streamline their on-site accident reporting and eliminate paper forms. All manual data keying and faxing are now handled by the AirBP Safety Data website. Administrators can now sort, report, and trend on data as needed via the web interface, resulting in time savings and more in-depth analysis.
